Kharibari, 03rd September: After a long wait, the meeting hall was inaugurated at Kharibari Rural Hospital by the Chairperson of Mahakuma Parishad Arun Ghosh. The said air-conditioned meeting hall has been constructed at a cost of Rs 06 and a half lakh.
During this, Darjeeling District Chief Health Officer Dr. Tulsi Pramanik, Kharibari President Ratna Singh Roy, Kishori Mohan Singh, and others were present. Arun Ghosh appreciated the work of doctors and health workers since the time of Covid and further talked about providing similar services to health workers in the days to come.
Also, the number of sub-health centers in the block has increased from 11 to 18. Chief Health Officer Dr. Tulsi Pramanik also informed that a diagnosis center is being set up at a cost of Rs 04 crore to run various medical tests and diagnoses.
