Medical service resume at Batasi Primary Health Center in Kharibari after five days

Kharibari, 01st December: After five days, emergency and indoor services resumed at the Batasi Primary Health Center in Kharibari.


It is to be noted that the hospital was vandalized after a woman died in an elephant attack at Andharu Jote in Batasi on November 25. Doctors and health workers were also harassed. Kharibari police arrested two people based on the complaint received by the block health department. After the incident, hospital services were disrupted. Today, the medical service resumed back to normal. Doctors and health workers were felicitated on behalf of the Kharibari Block Yuva Trinamool Congress.

Block Youth President Kishori Mohan Singh assured to boost the morale of doctors and health workers and stay by their side in the coming days. He said that the services have resumed after five days. The police will arrest the accused individuals and the hospital will run normally once again.
