Siliguri, 08th May: Siliguri Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya and Mayor-in-council Shankar Ghosh, on Friday, inspected the community kitchen at Siliguri Tinbatti More built under the initiative of the Ward No. 32 Councilor Tapas Chakraborty.
As per the report, meals are cooked regularly in the newly built kitchen, which is then distributed among several poor people in various parts of Siliguri.
Meanwhile, as it also the Mayor’s birthday today, he was therefore treated with a variety of meals by the Councilor and the party workers. After inspecting the kitchen, the Mayor highly praised the initiative and further encouraged the workers.
