Naxalbari, 04th September: A man has been arrested in Naxalbari over the alleged rape of his minor granddaughter. The incident reportedly took place in the Naxalbari Gram Panchayat area.
According to information, the minor’s parents had gone to work on August 27, leaving her at home. It is alleged that the accused sexually assaulted the minor while she was watching a mobile phone.
The minor later informed her family about the alleged incident. A dispute reportedly broke out within the family on Thursday night over the matter, following which a written complaint was lodged at Naxalbari Police Station.
