Islampur, 29th December: Under the initiative of Islampur Municipality, municipality administrator Kanailal Agarwal inaugurated the ‘Ashroy’ Bhawan constructed at a cost of 1 crore 1 lakh rupees for the destitute and homeless people.
Agarwal said that the four-story building has been constructed adjacent to the municipal primary school in Islampur’s Durga Nagar area. Free accommodation and food have been arranged for the needy.
As of now, ten beds have been arranged. Meanwhile, more such buildings have already been constructed in different parts of the state.
