Kharibari, 15th August: Different programs have been organised to observe India’s 75 years of independence. The day was seen celebrated across the city with great fanfare and pomp. In regard to commemorating the day, the 41st Battalion of Panitanki SSB, celebrated today by hoisting the national flag and also organised various programs.
During this celebration, Deputy Inspector General of 41st Battalion DB Sonar unfurled the flag. Along with this they also planted saplings in the entire Panitanki area. Speaking in this regard, SSB officials said that they are always alert to increase patrolling and surveillance in the border areas. They also urged the youths of the nation to come forward and protect the country.
