Kalchini, 14th February: Based on a tip-off, the forest officials launched a campaign in the Lichu Bagan area of Hamiltonganj and recovered 40 CFT illegal wood. Many bicycles have also been seized. The market value of the recovered wood has been estimated to be around 1 lakh rupees.
