Siliguri, 02nd June: Based on a tip-off, the NJP police launched an operation in the Fulbari area and recovered 52 kgs of cannabis from a pumpkin laden truck, which was on its way to Phansidewa from Jalpaiguri. The driver, identified as Lalon Roy has been arrested in the incident.
According to police sources, Roy is a resident of the Bihar Chapra area. The arrested accused was produced before the Jalpaiguri court today.
The police are investigating the matter.
