Siliguri, 10th April: The residents were in a state of panic after they sighted a herd of elephants in the Sukna Main Road area adjacent to Siliguri on Friday afternoon.
The incident was immediately reported at the Sukna Forest Department. However, after a while, the herd returned to the woods. Meanwhile, the forest officials are patrolling in the surrounding areas.
