Rajganj, 13th September: A helpless mother has pleaded for help in order to treat her differently-abled son Malay Barman (10). Meena Barman is a resident of Farabari Bhelki Para under Binnaguri of Rajganj block.
Due to paucity of money, the family is unable to get their son treated as they are dependent on their low daily wage. Reportedly, Meena’s family consists of a husband and two sons. The husband Vijay Barman works as a daily wage labourer in Siliguri and Meena makes garlands to sustain their livelihood. Meena said that her son is ill since birth and cannot walk or even speak.
Despite having a disability certificate, he has not received any help from the government. In such a situation, the family has requested help for the treatment of their son.
