Gold biscuits worth lakhs seized from the border area of Berubari Jalpaiguri

Rajganj, 02nd September: BSF’s 15th Battalion seized 446.56 grams of gold biscuits from the border area of Santal Para of South Berubari Gram Panchayat of Jalpaiguri Sadar Block on Thursday afternoon. The estimated market value of the said gold is said to be Rs 24 lakh. BSF handed over the seized gold biscuits to the customs department in Siliguri. The Customs Department has started an investigation into the whole matter.
