Fulbari, 27th April: In a recent development, the cops of New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police station have apprehended four individuals in connection with theft of parts worth lakhs of rupees from several trucks at Fulbari Bypass Truck Terminal. The arrested accused have been identified as Zariful Ali, Jamshed Ali, Alimul Haque, and Hasan Ali, all are residents of various areas of Fulbari.
A few days ago, an incident of theft came to light from the said terminal where parts of several trucks were allegedly stolen. After the incident, the management of the terminus filed a written complaint at the NJP police station.
Based on the complaint, the police initiated an investigation and arrested the four accused. Additionally, the officials also recovered the stolen items from their possession.
On Saturday, all four accused were produced before the Jalpaiguri District court. Currently the police are engaged in further investigation.
