Dhupguri, 15th May: A fish-laden truck lost control and met with an accident in the Dhupguri block Salbari area.
As per the information, the truck was on its way towards Falakata from Andhra Pradesh, during which the upper portion of the vehicle rammed into the height restriction of the Gilandi Bridge, early morning. Following which, a huge quantity of fish fell on the streets. Upon sighting the fishes, several people rushed to the spot to collect them.
Upon receiving the news, the Dhupgri police reached the spot and are investigating the matter.
