Rajganj, 25th February: Stir arose in the area on Saturday morning, after a fire broke out in a heap of garbage kept in front of a jute mill in the Panikauri area adjacent to Fatapukur under Rajganj block. As per the local sources, the area was filled with thick smoke.
Rajganj police reached the spot as soon as the news was received and also the fire department was informed. No casualty has been reported in the incident but, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. On the other hand, as soon as the news of the incident was received, the Block President of INTTUC Suleman Mohammad reached the spot.
