Siliguri, 01st September: An elderly man died in an elephant attack in Bagdogra Ord Tea Garden. The deceased has been identified as Nuys Baraik (63). Reportedly, he left the house today to find his cow when suddenly an elephant attacked the elderly man in the area adjacent to MM Terai Bagan due to which he died on the spot.
After getting information about the incident, Panighata Department of Forest Department and Bagdogra Police reached the spot and took the dead body into their possession, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
