Rajganj, 17th August: Manik Biswas, a resident of Fulbari No-1 Anchal Jamurivita area, drowned while he was fishing with his friend Dilip Das near Fulbari Mahananda Barrage on August 15.
On Monday, a disaster response force was deployed to search the missing youth. The NDRF team initiated a search operation in the canal and its surrounding areas since this morning.
It is to be noted that the incident occurred while Manik was attempting to cross the Mahananda River.
