Naxalbari, 15th August: Following Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari’s announcement, Minister of State Anandamay Barman renamed the MLA Seva Kendra in Naxalbari as the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose MLA Seva Kendra.
The centre provides various services to local residents and helps address their grievances. A large number of people were seen visiting the centre on Saturday.
Anandamay Barman said the centre was already operational and was renamed to pay tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, whom he described as a great freedom fighter.
He said services are being provided to the public following the Chief Minister’s announcement. Information about various government schemes is also provided to residents through the centre.
