Fulbari, 28th June: The condition of the Fulbari-Ghoshpukur Bypass road has deteriorated significantly, with large potholes across the stretch causing severe inconvenience to commuters and vehicle drivers.
Recent rainfall has filled the potholes with water and mud, making the road increasingly hazardous for motorists. Drivers of cargo trucks, small vehicles and other automobiles are finding it difficult to navigate the damaged stretch.
According to residents, the road has remained in poor condition for a long time, with the situation worsening during every monsoon season. They alleged that frequent minor and major accidents occur as drivers attempt to avoid the potholes.
Residents and commuters have urged the authorities to undertake immediate repair work, warning that the condition of the road could deteriorate further if timely action is not taken during the ongoing monsoon.
