Dhupguri Students stage protest over server glitches during examinations

Dhupguri, 07th October: Due to server problems, 272 fourth semester examinees of Dhupguri Sukanta University of the distance education department failed to take the exam in Rabindra Bharati University campus as they were unable to download the question papers. Hence, they expressed outrage and staged demonstrations at the campus.


It is to be noted that the state government had announced to take online exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, online exams have commenced in various colleges and universities.

The students complained that they could not download the question papers as the server was down since 9 am. They further alleged that the website was non-functional even after the exam’s time got over.


In this regard, the staff of Rabindra Bharati University Distance Education Center stated that such problems have been reported from all over the state
