Siliguri, 01st September: Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mayor Goutam Deb inaugurated Day-Care Chemotherapy Center at Siliguri District Hospital. However, this chemotherapy facility has been started temporarily at Siliguri District Hospital.
Mayor Goutam Deb inaugurated the centre through a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The said center will cater to cancer patients where they can avail of free chemotherapy. In this regard, Goutam Deb said that at present the Chemotherapy Center has been open temporarily in Siliguri District Hospital, but soon the complete work will be started by constructing a permanent building.
