Siliguri, 26th February: The Darjeeling District Yuva Congress staged a protest against the price hike of petroleum products. The Yuva Congress leaders joined the protest rally by pulling the city auto with ropes and wearing masks of Narendra Modi and Hitler.
The rally commenced from Hashmi Chowk, toured different areas, and concluded at the same spot. Following this, the masks of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Hitler were burnt.
Fayez Alam, vice-president of the Yuva Congress, said that the rally was taken out to protest against the abnormal price hike of petroleum products. He further stated that the reason why the masks of Modi and Hitler were used is that there is not much difference between the BJP government and Hitler.
