Darjeeling District SUCI observed Tanmay Mukherjee’s death anniversary as Martyrs Day

Siliguri, 28th August: SUCI observed Tanmay Mukherjee, the youth leader’s death anniversary as Martyr’s Day. Like every year, the 22nd Martyr’s Day of Tanmay Mukherjee was celebrated by Darjeeling District SUCI. Today, District Secretary Gautam Bhattacharya and other leaders laid wreaths at the martyr’s altar. It is to be noted that 22 years ago Tanmay Mukherjee, died on 28 August 2000. The organization believes he was murdered and the case about his death is still pending.
