Siliguri, 15th February: Darjeeling District Left Students Organization held a protest rally in Siliguri with several demands. Members of the organization started the said rally from Mahatma Gandhi Chowk in Siliguri on Wednesday. SFI workers and supporters along with state secretary Srijan Bhattacharya and state president Prateek Ur Rehman were present at the said rally.
The rally reached Hasmi Chowk via Hill Cart Road. Following the rally, a Path Sabha was organized by the organization. However, due to this, the road was blocked and an intense jam was witnessed in the area. Later a portion of the road was opened for traffic.
