Siliguri, 07th July: In light of the alarming coronavirus positive cases in Siliguri, COVID Care Networks have been launched to raise awareness among the general public.
The organization comprises of doctors, nurses, and various other individuals. All members held a meeting today at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Following which, they visited Siliguri Ward No. 45 and 46 and raised COVID-19 awareness among the residents.
The team then visited Champasari More and Thana More and raised awareness through a Path Sabha.
Dr. Abhijeet Choudhury, who heads Bengal’s experts committee of doctors formed to combat COVID-19 and is convenor of the state’s global advisory board, stated that a helpline number has also been launched in this regard. People can communicate through the helpline number regarding any difficulty. Besides, a portal is likely to be started for the citizens.
