COVID-19 test facilities launched in NBMCH

Siliguri, 26th March: The COVID-19 testing center has been set up at the North Bengal Medical College-Hospital from today.
In this context, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista submitted a letter to the Union Health Minister stating that despite North Bengal being very vulnerable to Coronavirus, not a single testing center has been established in the region. Therefore, he urged to establish a COVID-19 testing center in the region.
In response to his letter, arrangements have been done to set up the testing center in NBMCH. Due to the availability of a testing center in North Bengal itself, the process will take significantly less time and people will not have to wait for their test results.
