Siliguri, 19th June: In light of the increasing number of COVID-19 positive cases across the state, the Siliguri Welfare Organisation staged a protest rally demanding an improvement in the health system.
According to the report, the organization members protested at Siliguri Hospital More in support of multiple demands. They alleged that several quarantine centres are facing a shortage of food and hence demanded proper arrangements to be made at the centres, free of cost.
The protestors further demanded to set up government institutions which will help eliminate panic among the people and also urged everyone to stand by the COVID-19 affected families.
