‘Corruption will be exposed’ stated BJP candidate Raju Bista; files nomination for Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency

Darjeeling, 03rd April: On Wednesday, BJP candidate Raju Bista from the Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency submitted his nomination papers at the Darjeeling district administrative office. Prior to this, he addressed a public meeting in Darjeeling’s Chowrasta and took a jibe at the Trinamool Congress. In attendance was Bimal Gurung, the president of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha.


According to reports, Bista claimed that all the corruption in the hills will be exposed after June 4. Additionally, he stated that those involved in corruption will face a CBI investigation. He further added that the problems of the hills will soon be resolved. Meanwhile, Bimal Gurung corroborated his statement and added that only the BJP can fulfill the dreams of the hills. He further appealed to the public to vote for Raju Bista.

In alignment with this, Bimal Gurung warned the public to not vote for those who have profited from the bloodshed of hill dwellers during the protests. It should be noted that after nearly 8 years, Bimal Gurung addressed a public meeting from Chowrasta in Darjeeling. Following this, Raju Bista arrived at the Darjeeling district administrative office through a rally and submitted his nomination papers.
