Cooch Behar, 01st September: On the occasion of Police Day which is observed on 01st September, under the initiative of Cooch Behar district Police, a sit and draw competition was organised at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Cooch Behar.
According to reports, the event witnessed active participation of more than 200 contestants in three categories. The competition was inaugurated by Cooch Behar District Police Commisssioner Pawan Kadian, Superintendant of Police Sumit Kumar, Additional Superintendent Kumar Sunny Raj accompanied by other officials of the district police.
Speaking on the occasion, District Superintendent of Police Sumit Kumar stated that on the particular day, drawing competition was organised in almost all the police stations of Cooch Behar district.
