Conflict between two groups in Regulated Market: Trinamool councilor made shocking remarks about Papiya Ghosh

Siliguri, 10th September: Tension arose at the Regulated Market of Siliguri, on Friday due to a clash between two groups. Following this, Siliguri’s Trinamool councilor Dilip Barman has made shocking remarks about that clash. He accused District Trinamool leader Papiya Ghosh of instigating the dispute. He also said that he would step down from the post of councilor if the assembly leader will take any action on his remarks.


The dispute between Shyam Yadav and Umashankar factions in the Regulated Market of Siliguri has been going on for a long time. There is always a dispute between the workers of both parties. On Friday morning too, there was a fierce tussle between the two groups.

After this, the councilor of Ward No. 46, Dilip Barman went to the Pradhan Nagar police station at night during which, the councilor had a dispute with the police personnel. After leaving the police station, the councilor said that earlier, he had discussed with the district assembly leader Shyam Yadav at his house in which it was known that the dispute is been instigated by Papiya Ghosh. 


On the other hand, Papiya Ghosh said that there has been a dispute even before this was brought to her. She claimed Dilip Barman always speaks against the party and added earlier she had also notified the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding him.
