Clashes between two groups in Siliguri’s Regulated Market, two injured

Siliguri, 09th September: The city’s Regulated Market have been witnessing a lot of chaos for some time now, as there are frequent numbers of clashes between two factions to mark their dominance. It is alleged that once again the factions of Umashankar and Shyam Yadav got crowded in a tussle. Due to which, tension arose between the two groups leaving two laborers getting seriously injured in the said gang struggle.


As soon as the news of the incident was reported, the Pradhan Nagar Police reached the spot and took the situation under their control. At the same time, the injured laborers told that this morning they had gone to work. Shyam Yadav’s men allegedly attacked them leading them to get injured.


On the other hand, the Umashankar group protested in front of the Pradhan Nagar police station under the INTTUC banner, protesting the attack on its people by the Shyam Yadav group. After this, a written complaint was lodged in the police station in the name of 31 people of Shyam Yadav group.
