BJP stage protest in Naxalbari, accuses TMC of corruption

Naxalbari, 18th August: BJP protested in Naxalbari against the corruption of the ruling party, Trinamool Congress. Today the BJP leaders and workers protested by besieging the Naxalbari BDO office. The leaders raised slogans demanding the resignation of TMC in the state. 


It is to recall, in the last few weeks, TMC has stirred the state with its leaders getting involved in political scandals of corruption and theft. Renowned leaders from the party have been associated with corruption and cattle smuggling cases raising questions about the integrity of the ruling party. The said leaders have also been arrested and kept on remand for their scandalous corruption of the common people.

During this, District Vice-Presidents Dilip Barui and Nantu Paul, Women District Councillors Shikha Mitra, Shiv Sahni and other workers were present. In this regard, Nantu Paul alleged that the TMC has engulfed the entire state with corruption. Along with this, he added that many such corruption cases have come to the fore in Naxalbari block as well.
