BJP protest in front of Siliguri police station alleging police brutality

Siliguri, 16th September: Alleging police brutality during their march to Nabanna accusing the state government of corruption on  September 13, leaders, workers and supporters of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are staging a protest in police stations across the entire state. 


Likewise, the Siliguri Organizational District of BJP held a protest in the city today. Under the leadership of MLA Anandamay Barman, the supporters marched towards the Siliguri Police Station and demonstrated. They accused the police of violating human rights and using force against the party leaders and supporters during their Nabanna Chalo Abhiyan. 

Addressing the media, MLA and BJP’s Siliguri Organizational District president Anandamay Barman accused the police of working for the ruling party Trinamool Congress. “Police have become slaves. We are protesting against the attack on BJP supporters by the police during the Nabanna Chalo Abhiyan,” Barman added.
