Siliguri, 16th October: President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) JP Nadda is likely to visit Siliguri on October 19.
Reportedly, he will hold meetings with the office bearers of 8 districts of North Bengal. Besides, he has also scheduled to hold meetings with the MLAs and MPs of North Bengal.
An organizational meeting was held with all senior BJP leaders in Siliguri today regarding the programme. The meeting was attended by Jalpaiguri MP Jayant Roy, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, Cooch Behar MP Nishith Pramanik, and other activists.
MP Nishith Pramanik said that the main purpose of the meeting is the 2021 assembly elections.
