Siliguri, 07th October: BJP organised the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ in Siliguri on Wednesday to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service and highlight his contributions to the nation.
The procession was formally flagged off from Baghajatin Park, with various programmes also held at Rabindra Mancha. The yatra will pass through several roads and key areas of Siliguri.
According to the BJP, the procession aims to highlight Prime Minister Modi’s public welfare initiatives, his service to the people and his contribution to the country’s development.
State Tourism Minister and Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh was present at the launch of the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’. BJP leaders, workers and supporters from different levels of the party also attended the event.
The BJP stated that the yatra is aimed at taking the message of Modi’s 25 years of public service and his work for public welfare to a wider section of people.
