Siliguri, 26th February: BJP protested by gheraoing police stations across the state against the attack made on Union Minister of State Nisith Pramanik in Dinahata on Saturday.
Siliguri organizational district of BJP also protested by gheraoing the Pradhan Nagar police station in Siliguri. BJP workers and supporters reached the police station through a rally in front of the statue of Khudiram in Mallaguri. During this, two BJP MLAs Anandamoy Barman and Durga Murmu were present.
MLA Anandamoy Barman claimed that even the Minister of State for Home is not safe in West Bengal. He accused the police of favouritism and also filing false cases against BJP workers. He further added that the state government will soon see downfall. And added that if the next Panchayat elections are conducted fair, BJP will come to power.
