Cooch Behar, 08th April: The members of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of damaging the party flags and festoons in Mathabhanga of Cooch Behar.
Reportedly, the BJP alleged that a few miscreants associated with the TMC have ripped the flags and festoons installed in support of BJP candidate Nisith Pramanik in several wards of the city and dumped it in the drain.
In view of the issue, the BJP has filed a written complaint at the police station. The party has further cautioned of massive agitation upon failure to take strict action by the police administration. However, the TMC party has refuted the allegations raised by the BJP.
