Siliguri, 21st March: The police of Pradhan Nagar police station recovered a stolen bike in 24 hours and nabbed the thief, identified as Partho Mallick.
Reportedly, on the night of March 19, the bike was stolen from a house in the Naya Basti area of Netaji Nagar. A complaint was registered at Pradhan Nagar police station on 20 March. On the basis of the complaint lodged, the undercover police of the Pradhan Nagar police station started the investigation and solved the theft case within just 24 hours.
Cops intercepted a youth with a bike near Circuit House Masjid More upon suspicion. Upon interrogating the youth, the team learned that Partho possessed the stolen bike and immediately took him into custody. Today the accused was produced in the Siliguri court.
