Phansidewa, 01st February: A bike rider lost his life after being hit by a four-wheeler on the National Highway (NH) in Dhamnagachh area of Phansidewa block. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Suleman, a resident of the Sahanand Jote area.
As per reports, on Wednesday night, Mohammad was crossing the NH on a bike when a four-wheeler plying from Goaltuli toward Fulbari hit the two-wheeler. Consequently, the two-wheeler rider sustained severe injuries.
Upon being informed, the police arrived at the spot, rescued the injured, and transported him to Phansidewa Rural Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, the four-wheeler driver has been absconding after the incident. Currently, the cops of Phansidewa police station are on a hunt to apprehend the driver.
