Siliguri, 07th May: In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, social worker Raju Sarin, for the past 37 days, has been regularly distributing cooked meals among several needy people in Siliguri, with the assistance of the police.
Upon learning about the selfless initiative taken by Sarin, former Indian football captain Bhaichung Bhutia stepped forward to help him.
After arriving in Siliguri today, Bhaichung Bhutia handed over rice, pulses, and vegetables to the social activist and also inspected the way meals were being cooked for the needy.
