Naxalbari, 06th January: BDO Arindam Mandal raised COVID awareness among the general public in Naxalbari Bazar. Other officials including the OC of Naxalbari Police Station Iftikhar Ul Hossain were present at the programme.
It has been learned that on Thursday, the officials urged all pedestrians and common people to wear masks. Besides, masks were also handed over to the ones not wearing masks.
‘No mask no entry’ stickers were also pasted on every bus to prevent the spread of infection.
