Bailey bridge in Matigara to open from tomorrow

Siliguri, 02nd December: During a press conference today, Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma informed that the newly constructed Bailey Bridge in Matigara will be open from tomorrow – 12:30 pm.

Addressing the media, Sharma said that the movement on Bailey Bridge will commence from tomorrow. However, heavy vehicles, e-rickshaws (Toto) and army vehicles will not be allowed to ply through the bridge. At the same time, he said that school buses, two-wheelers and small private vehicles will be allowed to move. He further said that a traffic booth has been built near the bridge to maintain the traffic order.
