Siliguri, 17th May: In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Baghajatin Athletic Club has been regularly distributing a variety of cooked meals among several needy people ever since the nation-wide lockdown was imposed.
As per the information, the club completed its first phase of the distribution programme on Sunday in the presence of Minister Goutam Deb. Club member Bapi Chowdhury stated that more such initiatives are likely to be adopted in the future.
Apart from this, the club members also donated 25 thousand rupees in the State Relief Fund.
