Siliguri, 02nd January: The Madhyamik examinees residing adjacent to the forest areas were transported on buses to the examination center as per the instructions directed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
According to reports, the candidates from M.M. Terai, Ord Terai, and several other forest areas appearing for this year’s Madhyamik examination were transported to the examination center by government buses under the initiative of the Bagdogra Forest Department.
The Ranger of the Bagdogra forest department has directed all possible assistance for the school students and the students were transported in five buses allotted for the purpose. Additionally, there was an instance of elephant invasion earlier in the morning. However, any such wild animal appearances are under close monitoring.
