Siliguri, 12th August: An awareness program was organised at Murliganj High school in Phansidewa on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, Darjeeling district. The program was organised to create awareness about cyber crimes among the students.
At present, the rise in cyber crimes that are increasing day by day. The program was to make the students aware of online crimes. District Superintendent of Police Santosh Nimbalkar, Additional Superintendent of Police Manoranjan Ghosh, SDPO Achintya Gupta, and other police personnel were present. The students were informed and enlightened about the crimes that can happen through the internet. The officials also advised on how they can protect themselves from such crimes and such traps to happen in the future.
