Ashok Bhattacharya visited Sourav Ganguly’s house in Kolkata and held several discussions with the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
As soon as Ganguly’s picture came in front along with the governor as well as Home Minister Amit Shah, speculations surfaced of him joining the politics.
In this regard, Bhattacharya said that he asked Ganguly to not get involved in politics. As cricket has taken him to the pinnacle of popularity, the nation wants it to remain that way.
