Rajganj, 24th December: Ambari outpost Police arrested a man with country-made and domestic liquor. The arrested accused has been identified as Ratan Sarkar (54), a resident of the Sahudangi area in Rajganj.
According to police sources, Ratan Sarkar had been selling liquor illegally in shops in the Sahudangi area for some time. Acting on a tip-off, the Police launched operations last night and arrested the accused with illegal liquor.
The arrested accused was sent to Jalpaiguri court today.
