Siliguri, 06th February: The Darjeeling District Congress took out a mega rally in Siliguri in protest against various policies of the Central and State Governments, including the Farm Bill, price hike.
West Bengal Pradesh Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Darjeeling District Congress President Shankar Malakar and other leaders were present in the said mega-rally. A large number of activists and supporters also marched in the rally.
Reportedly, the rally commenced from Siliguri’s Mahatma Gandhi More (Airview More) and concluded at Baghajatin Park via Hillcart road. A public meeting was also organized in Baghajatin Park on behalf of Darjeeling District Congress, where Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary and other leaders addressed the gathering.
