Alipurduar, 02nd February: 5 people were severely injured in a head-on collision between a car and a motorcycle on the Asian Highway in the Dalsingpara area on Sunday morning. The car was heading towards Bhutan.
According to the report, as the car and the motorcycle collided head-on with each other, the motorist on the two-wheeler fell on the road while the car crashed into a truck, parked across the road. The 4 passengers of the car were severely injured in the incident.
Locals rescued the injured and rushed them to the Latabari Rural Hospital. They were then shifted to the Alipurduar Hospital. Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot and are investigating the matter.
