Amid the skyrocketing COVID-19 cases in Bengal, a 99-year-old coronavirus positive patient recovered at a hospital in Kolkata and returned to his home in South 24 Parganas district’s Diamond Harbour, on Thursday.
The 99-year-old won the battle against the fatal coronavirus virus in exactly seven days. He was tested positive on June 24.
With this, he becomes the oldest person so far to beat the virus in West Bengal.
