8-feet long python rescued from a residential area in Fulbari

Rajganj, 23rd September: An 8-feet-long python has been rescued from the Ujjwal Nagar area, adjacent to Bholamora, No. 2 gram panchayat of Fulbari. The python was spotted slithering on a jackfruit tree of a house in the area.


Reportedly, residents spotted the python in front of their house this morning and informed forest personnel. As soon as the news was received, the forest personnel of Dabgram range of Baikunthpur Forest Division reached the spot and rescued the snake.

In this regard, forest worker Arit Dey maintained that the python is about 8 feet long and the condition of the python is healthy. Furthermore, the reptile will be taken to the Dabgram range and will be released in the wild.
